Top 5 Animal-Friendly Brands.

So it's the long awaited 'Top 5 Animal Friendly Brands' post. I'm sorry if it's not everyone's cup of tea and I've tried to be as informative and fair as I could. I included a few bits of everything so if you're looking for a particular product (ie. a nail varnish or body care) then you'd have atleast one idea of where to go. Also I'm sorry about the huge delay, I've been so busy but I promise to try and be a better blogger!

1. Topshop
I'm a sucker for anything in Topshop packaging and considering they are a fairly new make up company their products are always of high quality and they definitely have something their to suit everyone. However, at their prices it's not a brand I feel I can 'take caution to the wind' with and splurge on a large amount of products because their prices are above what you would pay for a drugstore brand and sometimes the drugstore brands are better or atleast on par as far as quality goes.

2. Natural Collection
Everything is £1.99 and cruelty free? You can't really complain at that. Their products were probably the first things I tried out, I used their powders for a longgg time as well as their mascaras, looking back I feel I went a little crazy on the Natural Collection front however it's not something I feel I wasted money on because it's THAT cheap. I definitely recommend this brand to people who are just starting out in make up because it's a good way to find out what type of skin you have, what looks good on you and i think most importantly for me, it helped me determine what I felt comfortable wearing. One product which a lot of people rave about but I think is a bit of a gimmick is the 'Moisture Shine Lipsticks' because they are either very sheer or dry your lips out completely. I think I'm alone with this view though since most youtubers and beauty guru's adore this lipstick. Please let me know if you're with me on this one or if I'm a lone soul! :)

3. E.L.F (Eyes, Lips and Face)
It's basically the cosmetics version of Primark, you have to be careful what you buy but if you purchase carefully you can get amazing quality products which average around £1.50-£3.50. I was thinking about doing a blog dedicated to products I love and will  be repurchasing, if that's something that you guys would be interested in then please let me know. A quick rundown of my favourite 2 are...
- ELF studio line powder brush (£3.50) - Super soft and applies colour so easily and is great for blending
-ELF eyebrow kit (£3.50) - amazing for people who want to emphasize their eyebrows but don't want 'scousebrows', I swear by this product!

4. Models Own
The perfect shop to go to for any nail products, they have a wide range and amazing quality. It's hard to find a company that does nail varnish which doesn't test on animals but Models Own fits the bill. I probably won't repurchase any lipsticks from this brand as I've found they have started drying out my lips which is a bummer because the orangeade which I blogged about previously was becoming a staple piece for me. However one product I didn't expect much from was the Models Own blush, my mum bought this and absolutely adores it, she has slightly darker skin than I do and it just is perfect for her skin and makes her look young and youthful again, I believe it's fairly cheap too so it's worth a try... I might actually do a sneaky purchase of one myself.

5. Lush
Lush is my favourite store at the moment. I've never in my life had such high quality customer service ever! The smell, the people and the atmosphere is to die for. I cannot rave about LUSH enough. I owe a few of their haircare products and bath products which are amazing. I also bought my best friend the 'Dirty' shaving cream and he said that gives him a good shave so I would recommend this shop to men as well. Whether you're treating yourself or someone else LUSH would be my number one choice.

Thanks for reading and I hope you all liked it!

Love you all,

B x
